Getting your kitten ...
Skylar
If you would like a kitten, the best thing to do is e-mail
indicating your preferences.
Ragdoll kittens are placed on a first-come, first-served basis based on quality
selected.
You may transport your kitten to any airport in the world that all allows the importation of
kittens. All kittens traveling by air will need an airline-approved carrier and a health
certificate. Please keep in mind, that although the compartment the kitten is flown in is
climate controlled and pressurized; the outdoor air temperature must range between 45
degrees F and 85 degrees F at its point of departure, all layover stops, and its final
destination. This very reasonable temperature requirement makes some months of the year
unacceptable for air cargo travel to most destinations. The minimum age for flying a kitten is
10 - 12 weeks. Some kittens may need to be older based upon individual development and the
nature of the trip.
Another option for you is to fly here and take the kitten home onboard with you--check your
local laws. This option is chosen by many people: it could be our world-famous weather, the
San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Legoland, and spendid scenic sandstone cliffs overlooking a
sparkling blue Pacific Ocean that makes San Diego a great minivacation paradise. After you
have seen the sights, you can pick up your kitty and head for home--none the worse for the
wear.
We guarantee that your kitten is free of FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) and FIV (Feline
Immunodeficiency Virus). All of our kittens are checked by a licensed veterinarian prior to
placement. Kittens that are flying to their new home require a valid health certificate. All
kittens will have age-appropriate vaccines at the time of placement.
